Do you want to quit watching porn, soliciting prostitutes, or prostituting yourself? Let’s make that happen.

I am Sylvia Perry. From 1994 to 2006, I was a stripper, and I also prostituted myself. When I finally got out I started working as a public speaker for First Offender Prostitution Project, FOPP for the City of San Francisco. I talk to people who get arrested soliciting prostitutes for the first time. I tell them my story, and why I think soliciting prostitutes is not the best way to get their needs met. I have been doing this presentation for 14 years now. Also, I have been in 12 step recovery work for the last 20+ years. I have had many people come up to me after hearing my story and say, “After I heard you share, I never solicited a prostitute again.” If you are soliciting prostitutes or prostituting you are risking STDs, and Covid 19. You have a choice. You can do your same old same old. Or you can take different actions. It's up to you. Make better decisions around your love partners. You deserve love. Sex is a part of love. But it's not the only part. By the way sex gets really wonderful when you have an emotional and spiritual connection with the other person. It’s not being taught that way. People are learning about sex through porn. Porn is not real. Porn promotes instant gratification, hatred, and isolation. It leads to confusion, shame, and erectile dysfunction. I consider porn filmed prostitution, and prostitution sexual abuse. I'm asking you to read and educate yourself. Learn how to be relaxed and comfortable regardless if you are being sexual or not. What does it really mean to love yourself and to love other people? During this important time in history, during a shelter in place take a look within yourself. I wish you so much love. I wish you a huge curiosity to get to know yourself, and to love yourself. Once you do that then you can go and love someone else, and celebrate each other! I am sure a global pandemic was not on your “To Do” list, and here we are. For you it can be a time of transformation and magic. A time to think about your life. What do you want to let go, what shall you manifest?
